There are brambles (they are trying to get rid of them &#8211; good luck!) among the hedges &amp; I\u2019m sure there was some hawthorn in the bracken.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large\" title=\"11\/11\/18\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.holloway.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/BIRU-WP-20181111T104022GMT1030-1536x1150.jpg\" alt=\"11\/11\/18\" width=\"1536\" height=\"1150\" data-json=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large\" title=\"11\/11\/18\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.holloway.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/BIRU-WP-20181111T102411GMT1030-1536x1152.jpg\" alt=\"11\/11\/18\" width=\"1536\" height=\"1152\" data-json=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We saw blackbirds sparrows and superb fairy wrens on the path and white faced herons on the shore.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large\" title=\"11\/11\/18\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.holloway.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/BIRU-WP-20181111T125924GMT1100-1536x1025.jpg\" alt=\"11\/11\/18\" width=\"1536\" height=\"1025\" data-json=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large\" title=\"11\/11\/18\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.holloway.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/BIRU-WP-20181111T114434GMT1030-1536x1152.jpg\" alt=\"11\/11\/18\" width=\"1536\" height=\"1152\" data-json=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After Shelly Beach the path went inland and we counted 12 koalas high up in the trees &#8211; several mothers with babies and some were moving.
